NORFOLK, VA – (Jan. 17, 2024) – Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia (Senior Services) will open a Better Together Café at Windsor Town Center on Tuesday, February 6th. The café, situated at 23361 Courthouse Hwy, Windsor, VA 23487, will be open from 10:00 am to 1:45 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The Better Together Café offers a range of activities for seniors, including meals, holiday celebrations, special events, trips to local events, games, and wellness education that are all free to seniors who are 60 years old and better.

Participants will not only have access to nourishing meals and transportation services to get to the center, but also the opportunity to socialize with their peers, and make new friends. We invite town officials, community members, family, friends, and partners to come see the new Better Together Café.
A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place:

Better Together Cafés create a safe space for older adults to be socially active and maximize their health and well-being. “We are all BETTER TOGETHER no matter your age,” says Steve Zollos, Chief Executive Officer at Senior Services. “Eating right and staying physically and socially active are important for our ongoing health as we age. That’s why we have started the Better Together Café.
Older adults in the Windsor Center Better Together Café will also have access to all the services offered by Senior Services including, Transportation, Social and Recreation, Care Coordination, In-Home Services, Medicare Benefits Counseling, and Evidence-based Wellness classes.
