Neighborhood Assistance Program
The Virginia Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) was established in 1981 to encourage businesses and individuals to make donations to approved nonprofit organizations for the benefit of serving low-income persons. The program allows the donor the opportunity to receive NAP tax credits equal to 65 percent of the qualifying donation. NAP tax credits are realized when the donor files a Virginia state income tax return.
If you would like to consider making a NAP qualified donation to SSSEVA, please contact Debbie Schwartz, Director of Development and Community Relations at 757-222-4520 or email dschwartz@ssseva.org to confirm the availability of tax credits and the opportunities that best fit your situation.
