A Matter of Balance Program

Many adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities. This award-winning program is designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. Gain confidence and reduce your risk of falls.

Learn to:

  • View falls as controllable
  • Set goals for increasing activity
  • Make changes to reduce fall risks at home
  • Exercise to increase strength and balance
  • This evidence-based program was developed at Boston University

Classes are held once a week for 8 weeks for 2 hours each.

View class schedules below:

January 7th - February 25th from 1PM - 3PM at Franklin Arms Midrise

January 9th - February 28th from 1PM - 3PM at the Rokeby Community Center

March 10th - April 28th from 10:30AM - 12:30PM at Hunters Square Midrise

April 8th - May 27th from 10AM - 12PM at the Franklin Health Department
