The program is currently free during the summer pilot program.

Q: What is the different between I-Ride Express and  I-Ride NOW?

A: I-Ride NOW offers same-day, on-demand services (much like Uber). It is currently only offered in the Suffolk area. I-Ride Express requires you to schedule your ride ahead of time, but is a direct door to door service. This service is offered in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Franklin, and Isle of Wight County.

Q: When will this program come to other cities?

A: I-Ride NOW is currently in it’s pilot phase and is being tested in the Suffolk area. Our goal is to bring the program to all of South Hampton Roads and Western Tidewater in the near future. Continue to check back for updates.
