Senior Services’ Medicare benefits counselors will hold information and assistance events throughout Western Tidewater in October 2017 to assist Medicare-eligible individuals navigating Medicare and Medicare Part D. Assistance will also be available for those who are currently enrolled and may be eligible for the Part D Low-Income Subsidy “Extra Help” benefit. Reservations are recommended.

The Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts will host An Evening with Mark Twain and Friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Sept. 28. This event is organized by Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia and sponsored by Virginia Eye Consultants. Tickets are $45 to benefit the Senior Companion program.
