This Giving Tuesday, Senior Services invites you to be part of something life-changing: helping older adults in our community find safety, stability, and hope.
Every day, we meet seniors in Southeastern Virginia who are living without a permanent home—sleeping in cars, in shelters, or on the street. Many have worked hard their whole lives but now face impossible choices between rent, medicine, and food. Our Homeless Older Adult Program provides compassionate case management and resources to help seniors rebuild their lives.
Your Giving Tuesday gift can:
• Provide a Welcome Home Basket with all the essentials for seniors moving into new housing.
• Help cover security deposits and utility assistance to move someone into a new home or maintain their current one.
• Connect older adults with case management, transportation, and nutrition to stay stable and independent.
