In January 2019, Senior Services invited 25 lay leaders for our evidence-based wellness programs, along with our community partners who have had an instrumental role in the success of our programs, to participate in an appreciation luncheon. During the luncheon, presenters discussed how the programs have grown, contrasting statistics from Fiscal Years 2017 and 2018, including areas served, number of workshops, and total number of completers. Additionally, there was a presentation from Health Quality Innovators (HQI) regarding its next five-year plan initiative and how it will relate to the work Senior Services continues to do. To finish up the luncheon, certificates of appreciation were given to those leaders and community partners who have gone above and beyond to help our evidence-based programs.
