DESCRIPTION:Help us support older adults in our community who are experiencing homelessness or are homebound. We’re collecting new\, travel-size hygiene items\, snacks\, and comfort supplies to fill Golden Care Bags that will bring health\, dignity\, and daily essentials to those in need. \nCare Bag Items \nALL items must be new\, sealed in individual packaging\, and in small or travel sizes. \n\n• Body wash\n• Deodorant\n• Face and body wipes\n• Toothbrushes\n• Toothpaste\n• Hand sanitizer\n• Toilet paper\n• Socks\n• Winter gloves\n• Rain ponchos (disposable)\n• Crackers (individually wrapped)\n• Easy open cans and pouches (ready-to-eat items\, pop-top or tear-open)\n• Band-Aids\n• Mini flashlights (with batteries\, if required)\n• Drawstring bags\n• Ziploc bags (1 Gallon or 2.5 Gallon)\n\nEvent Details:\nFriday\, September 26th\n1:00 – 3:00 p.m. \nDrop-off Location:\n2551 Eltham Avenue\, Suite Q\nNorfolk\, VA 23513 \nQuestions?
