FY 2007 SENIOR SERVICES NUTRITION SITES

Senior Services CONGREGATE MEAL services provide at least one nutritionally balanced meal up to five days per week for persons sixty-years (60+) and older and their spouses at designated nutrition and wellness centers. Centers provide an atmosphere for socialization and opportunities to maintain each senior’s health, independence and social contacts. Center Managers may be contacted directly for participation in the meal program.

Senior Services HOME-DELIVERED meal service, determined on the basis of eligibility, is an integral part of the frail, homebound elderly. The purpose of this service is to provide at least one aid in avoiding or delaying institutionalization.
