At Senior Services, we are committed to
helping people live independently.. For some families,
finding in-home, long-term care services is the key to helping
their senior loved ones continue living at home. Whether you
need homemakers, personal care aides or adult day care
services, you can get the long-term assistance and support you

Adult Day Care
If you work while caring for a loved one, Senior Services can
put you in touch with a licensed Adult Day Care Center. Here,
seniors age 60 and over participate in a variety of fun group
activities such as Bingo, a light exercise program or a
current events discussion, plus lunch. The centers, open
Monday through Friday, also offer health, social and support
services if you need them.
Fee: A sliding fee scale makes use of the Adult Day
Care Centers affordable for most families. Please contact the

Home-delivered Meals
There’s nothing like a hot, delicious meal! Through our
Home-delivered Meals program, we deliver one mid-day meal per
day for seniors age 60 and over who are restricted to their
homes due to illness or disability. We also provide boxed
meals that you can put aside in the event of inclement weather
conditions or emergencies.
Fee: Routes and fees may vary.

Homemaker
If you need help around the house during a period of
illness or recovery, you can take advantage of our Homemaker
Program. We’ll connect you to a licensed professional who can
help with such tasks as light housekeeping or preparing a
meal. This service is available Monday through Friday.
Fee: If your income is at the Federal Poverty level, there is no fee charged for the service. If your income is higher, there will be a flat fee for the service, regardless of the number of hours authorized.

Personal Care
After an illness or during a period of convalescence, our
Personal Care Program can help you with hair care, bathing,
food preparation, feeding – and other self-care tasks. Our
Care Coordinators will assess your condition, help you develop
a care plan and arrange for the services through a licensed
home health agency.
Fee: If your income is at the Federal Poverty level, there is no fee charged for the service. If your income is higher, there will be a flat fee for the service, regardless of the number of hours authorized.

Senior Companions
Do you know of someone who needs a friend? Senior Services
administers a Senior Companion Program that partners senior
volunteers with homebound adults in need of companionship and
a helping hand. In addition to paying a friendly visit, the
companions often perform a variety of tasks, such as shopping
for groceries, writing a letter or fixing a light meal. In
some cases, the Senior Companion plays a vital role in the
life of their client, providing a much-needed link from the
community to that home.
No fee: This service is free to those who need
assistance.
